Well, I spend a good portion of my time learning.

I've always love to paint and sketch - then several years ago, I was a member of an online reader's group and wanted to be able to change the font and color of my posting text - as well as use all those cute smilies I was seeing all over the place.

And, the journey began.

Eventually, I built my first web site - and, oh how I wish I had a screen shot or something of that first model. I'm sure I'd get a good laugh out of it today.

Over the years, between having three beautiful kids, I've taught myself to do much more - eventually finding my way to the design aspect of it all using Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and whatever else I can manage to get my hands on. My true passion.

It can take considerably more time to teach yourself, but it's so rewarding when you know you've done something really cool on your own.
